Initially this cover was conceived for my previous band, crown of pity, but I reworked it as a bridge between both projects.

In January of 1997, I was 15 and saw Type O Negative in Asbury Park at The Stone Pony. After the show I was fortunate enough to meet Peter. I was a huge Type O fan, and when we posed for the picture I had mentioned that my mother said that I was trying to look like him. He deadpan replied, "a face only a mother could love"
